Teddy Bears

Early childhood is an important time to establish a connection to the world, their feelings, their friends and their skills. In our eighteen months to two and a half years classroom, each child is encouraged to grow and explore with there senses and peers. We believe that each child is a unique gift from God, having there own purpose and place within our world and God’s heavenly kingdom.

Koala

Our Koala classroom focuses on a child’s social interactions with others. Here, children ages two and a half to three years learn to take turns, share with one another and spread God’s love. These children are encouraged to become more independent and self-reliant as the year progresses. Things like picking up their toys, putting on a jacket and potty training are practiced daily.

Honey Bears

Our Honey Bear class is a Regio Emilia inspired class. In Regio Emilia curriculum the classroom is the third teacher. The environment is set up in such a way that it mimics a natural setting. Neutral colors and natural objects (such as shells, stones, and plants) help to create a more natural and less overstimulating environment.

Care Bears

In our Care Bear room, our kids are encouraged to explore and discover their surroundings. We ponder the “how” and the “why” things work the way they do and then we try them. Teamwork and friendships are practiced and forged as we learn to resolve disagreements and rejoice in our friend’s successes!

Panda 1

Panda 1 & 2 are pre-kindergarten classes designed to help develop the whole child through a developmentally age appropriate curriculum that focuses not only on social skills and problem-solving, but on academics as well. In this class, we aim to help the children become kindergarten ready by giving them plenty of hands-on STEM activities that foster the love of learning and inquiry that children are naturally gifted with. Every month brings with it new themes, activities, Bible lesson and special events posted on the Activity Board.
