December is here again! The teachers and children are busy with Holiday preparations and loads of fun seasonal activities. We are all looking forward to our Family Christmas Parties, and are eager to share this very special evening with all of you. School will be closed at 5:30 all three days in order for us to prepare for the event. Children must be picked up promptly by that time. We will be making ornaments, decorating cookies, singing carols, and lighting our tree. We invite you to come and join in on the fun!
A few reminders… With the holiday hustle and bustle, and unreliable weather/traffic, we would like you to keep in mind that we close promptly at 6:00 p.m. Pick up at 6:01 means that you are late. Our teachers have worked a long day and are eager to go home to their families at 6:00p.m. We appreciate your consideration.
Our SoCal winters are incredibly hard to keep up with. It’s hot one minute and cold the next. As such, please send a jacket to school with your child so that they can be comfortable. All jackets/sweaters should be labeled with your child’s name. On that same note we are seeing an uptick in illness at school. If your child is not feeling well, please remember to keep them home so that we can avoid sharing our germs.
We have several events coming up and they may differ depending on when the teachers want to celebrate. Be sure to pay attention to the signage on the door so that your child does not miss out. And lastly, All Saints Preschool will be closed for our Christmas break from Thursday December 23rd, through January 2nd. We will reopen on Monday the 3rd. We hope you and your family have a safe and blessed Holiday season, and we look forward to the start of a fresh new year!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
