February is here and as always, we have lots of fun activities and events planned for the children with Chinese New Year on the 5th, and Valentines day on the 14th. Not only is it fun to make cards for our friends, but we get to use the whole month to impress upon the
children the power of love and friendship. Class party sign-ups will be posted soon so keep an eye out for more details. On another note, please remember to sign your child in and out every day. We know
that mornings can be rushed, but it is a licensing requirement that your child is signed in and out of school.
The air is still pretty crisp, we would like to remind you to please make sure your child has a jacket or sweater at school. All clothing items should be labeled with your child’s name to ensure no one’s favorite jacket goes home with someone else. =)
Cold & Flu Season
We are experiencing a particularly harsh cold and flu season, and we are trying our very best to keep our school healthy. Please remember that if your child is showing signs of illness to keep them home until they are no longer contagious. Children exhibiting rash, fever, diarrhea or throwing up MUST STAY HOME until symptom free for 24 hours without the aid of medication. In addition, please call us and let us know if your child is home sick so we can advise other parents to be vigilant for signs of illness. If your child goes to the doctor,we will need a note advising us when the child is permitted to return to school. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
