March is here and with it comes several special events. This month we celebrate Dr. Seuss Day on the 2nd, St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th, as well as Persian New Year on the 19th! Wow, talk about a month brimming with fun activities and reasons to party! As always, party sign-up sheets will be up the week before the party, and if you have any questions about what to bring don’t hesitate to ask. Please remember that even if you sign up for party food (if it’s a lunch party) you still need to bring in snacks for your child. The teachers work hard to incorporate all these special events into their weekly lessons so remember to ask your children all about them!

We would like to remind you that we staff the school according to the number of children on site. If you need to make a change to your child’s schedule, or will be arriving to school late (after 9:00 a.m.) please make sure to call the office so we can ensure we have adequate staff for the day. In addition, please remember to sign your child in and out every day.

Lastly, unfortunately, due to COVID-19we will not be able to have parents come in to read to the children on Dr Seuss Day. We will still be eating green eggs and ham, and teachers will have little reading and craft centers set up outside. If you would like your child to bring in a Dr Seuss book to share on Tuesday please make sure to label it with their name. Don’t forget to follow our Facebook page all Saints’Preschool Shadowridge as we try and post there as well as on Shutterfly.
